Delhi College of Arts and Commerce or DCAC as it is more commonly known, is a constituent college of the ever so prized Delhi University situated in the lush and prominent residential area of Netaji Nagar. With its somewhat isolated establishment, it ensures privacy and safety of its students from the ruckus that is created during campaigns and fests.
As for the courses, the institute provides a wide variety of both commerce and arts related subjects with particular excellence and specialization being in B.com (program), History (Hons) and Economics (Hons) along with diploma in various foreign languages including German, French and Spanish. The faculty of the college are really supportive and well versed with the subjects they are expected to teach. The institution also provides ample opportunities for its students to truly enjoy while garnering different skills and knowledge by conducting seminars, webinars, workshops by the BIG FOUR companies along with various other activities conducted by different student societies that are pretty much the identity of the entire University. The ranking of the college and the programs offered by it is also quite high and appreciable.
As far as the infrastructure is concerned, it is nothing above satisfactory but constant efforts are being made to improve and uplift it for the betterment in the coming years. When we talk about life outside the campus, the first thing that affects the decision of any student in regard to selecting a college is its transportation facilities. In spite of being somewhat isolated, the commutation services are improving with the opening of new metro station Bhikaji Cama Place GAIL along with the existing Sarojini Nagar and Sir M Vishveshwaraiah Moti Bagh metro stations. For the people who commute by bus, there are auto services available to cover the 1.5 km stretch to reach the college.
