Based on the outskirts of the famous Kailash hills, Kailash Colony shares its boundaries with Lajpat Nagar, Zamrudpur, C.R Park, and the heart of the south Delhi G.K, which is a class apart, but Kailash Colony is the oldest among them all. Since the partition of India and Pakistan, most of the refugees have resided in these areas.
