Eligibility for all undergraduate courses is based on minimum qualification -12th class and the minimum eligibility ranges from 40%-60% depending on the course. The admission to undergraduate courses is entirely merit-based. The eligibility criteria differ for different categories (General, SC/ST, OBC, EWS, etcetera). The college releases its cut-off and has a well-defined procedure for admission.  The total number of seats available for each course are also divided among these categories.

 Also, Best Four Subjects (BFS) vary on the course selected. For example, if you apply for B. Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology then the mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology.

The fees also vary for each category (General, SC/ST, NRI, OBC); it lies between INR 8,000 – INR 20,000 for almost all the courses.

KMC provides a boy’s hostel facility to its students but it is limited. KMC is planning to have a girl’s hostel soon. There are 89 hostel rooms which accommodate about 170 students. Hostels are provided on a merit basis to students and seats are allocated to various courses.  For others who don't get a hostel can always resort to PGs, hostels and flats on rent nearby.
